Crystal brings over 15 years of experience in design and marketing, with a background that spans both agency and corporate environments. She thrives on building brands from the ground up and approaches every project with equal parts strategy and creativity. Known for her sharp eye for detail and clear communication, Crystal ensures every piece of a project is aligned, intentional, and effective.
Outside of work, she embraces the beautiful chaos of life with her husband and two kids. A lover of all things Middle-earth, you can often find her exploring Hobbit lore, watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy, or cozied up with a good book—always chasing a little magic and a well-earned moment of calm.
Kate Smith
With a background in both design and higher education, Kate has a unique ability to translate complex ideas into visuals that resonate. She leads creative direction with an emphasis on storytelling, ensuring every brand element contributes to a cohesive, meaningful narrative. Her strength lies in crafting beautiful, functional designs—where every pixel serves a purpose.
When she’s not immersed in design or painting custom watercolor dog portraits, you’ll find her with her husband and their two pups, Duck and Todd—cheering at a sporting event or soaking up the sun in her favorite getaway spot, the Outer Banks.

Hello! We’re Crystal and Kate.
Our journey began in 2009, when a college typography class brought us together. That creative spark turned into a lasting friendship, years of collaboration, and eventually, the business we’re proud to lead today.
Between us, we’ve worn a lot of creative hats—freelance designers, corporate marketers, video editors, motion graphic artists, and design instructors at the college level. These experiences shaped not just our skills, but our values: intentional design, clear communication, and a strategy-first mindset.
